Low-Key Valentine’s Day

Joe and I don’t normally do very much for Valentine’s Day and today was no different although we did have a nice supper together.  I worked early and was finished at 4:30 so we were able to have supper at a normal time and last weekend when we came back home Joe’s mom sent us with a Valentine’s Day supper for us to have together.  It included potato crusted cod, lobster cheese balls and calamari which was all super tasty and nice because it was easy to make so neither of us was cooking all evening just to make supper!  Unfortunately, I totally forgot to take a picture of any of it until after we had eaten it all!  We also had broccoli/corn/peas on the side with our fish and then Joe’s mom sent us creme brulee too but I didn’t realize that until I had already gotten a little cake, so we saved the creme brulee for the following day and had cake and strawberries for dessert (since the creme brulee was frozen and kept better than cake).
