A few months ago Joe picked up this old player piano… the outside is pretty and it looks nice but the inside needed a lot of work. An animal had nested in it leaving tons of old peanut shells in there, the keys are scratched and peeling and it needs tuning very badly. So our new winter project is to rehab our piano and make it playable!
Joe started by cleaning out all the old shells and making the inside of the piano better to work on. He also stripped off the keys so we can get a refinishing kit to make them look good again. Joe previously labeled all the keys in order so he knows where to put them back and you can see a few different old labels from people working on the piano before too!
