Covered Road

Joe and I haven’t been to the corn maze/pumpkin farm yet and we didn’t do any fall colour tours this year from any of the ski hills… but we did take a drive out to a covered road touristy spot where the trees are so tall and close to the road it looks really neat.  The road was very busy when we were there though and we saw a bunch of other cars doing the same thing as us.

We aren’t sure but we thought maybe this used to be at rail road or something… otherwise it is so flat and straight and in many spots the road is actually sunk and the trees rise up on a wall on either side (you can sort of see that in the last picture here) and it is pretty narrow too.  There are only a few camps on this road and I don’t think anyone lives on it full time… if so they must have a hard time in the winter since I doubt it is a priority road for the plows to take care of!
