Today was the day to put our new door in. Unfortunately, we got about half way finished when we realized that we ordered a 32 inch door because the middle of the door opening in 32 inches, when in reality we needed to order a 33 inch door because the front of the door frame is 33 inches. So when the door was on, there was a very large gap between the door and the frame. Who knew? So off came the door and Joe had to cut and paint small strips of wood to make the door frame smaller before we could try again!
My very nice husband putting up the door for the first time. It was a nicer day and much more fun the first time 🙂 Next time (if we ever buy another new door ever again) we’ll know what to do and how to measure correctly!
