Popcorn and Chocolate Milk

I worked until 7pm today and then Joe picked me up and we headed home here to finish animals and get supper… we had shredded chicken tacos and Spanish rice.  While I was at work Joe was doing some errands and picking up some tax books.  Last year was the first year we filed together and we took our taxes to H&R block.  We paid for them to do them, but they just filled out a form on their computer like we could have done ourselves so this year Joe is interested in doing our taxes on our own and we’ll figure out (probably mostly Joe will do them, but maybe I’ll help – we’ll see) if it would be more prudent for us to file together or individually and to make sure we’re doing all the right deductions too.  It shouldn’t be too difficult but we do have a whole bunch of different forms so it may take a bit of time.

Tonight after supper Joe and I settled in to watch some TV shows and movies while Joe was working on his faceting machine and I had my Kindle to read as well.  Like usual I fell fast asleep and at one point I woke up long enough to have popcorn and chocolate milk with Joe inbetween movies and then I fell back asleep until 1am when he woke me up to go back to bed! I missed chunks of at least two movies but I just couldn’t stay awake!
